Andrea Mercury

Band Leader Andrea Mercury, born in the island of Barbados started Socaholics as a t-shirt band, and after numerous requests by masqueraders to upgrade to costumes and be competitve she decided to take their advice. With the help and direction of her designer Ansel "Mice" Niles the Socaholics was successful their very first year as a costume band in 2011 and intend to become bigger and better each year with your continued support.

2k12 Bandlaunch Review: SocaHolics 2k12 offering seem to resemble that of a seasoned band leader. SocaHolics has only been officially around for two years, and has the quality, flair and style of a well seasoned Mas band.
Last Sunday their launch was attended by about 200+ supporters. Bandleader Andrea took the mike and introduced the models in an atmosphere that was pure carnival. Dj Big Trini and company ran the tunes and the other members of the band serve up tasty Caribbean dishes.
