Bandleader Profile

Rudy Osborne

D' Midas International Boston has been led by Rudy Osborne for over twenty years since Rudy got involved with Boston Carnival, although by accident as he said, he has been in the Mas business as a young man in Trinidad.

During his reign as the the bandleader, he has won several King and Queen competitions and band of the year awards in Boston, New York and Cambridge, and has received several individual honors. Rudy Osborne's band was not on the road for Boston's Trinidad-style carnival in 2011 and his presence was missed. His return for 2k12 was well received and we here at Boston Carnival Village hope he is back for a very long time. See story in the Bay State Banner

D' Midas International Boston is part of an organization which is affiliated with D' Midas Associates and there are several other organizations located in Canada, New York, Oakland CA and Montreal, and meets every two years in Trinidad and New York
